Drivers and vehicles are the essential resources managed within the Majestic Transport system. Their effective coordination is critical for successful transport operations.

Drivers

A Driver is a professional personnel responsible for executing transport trips.

Driver Profiles

Each driver has a dedicated profile in the system, which includes:

  • Personal Information: Name, contact details, and identification numbers.
  • Documentation: Driver's licenses, permits, and other required certifications.
  • Assigned Tasks: A list of currently assigned and upcoming trips.
  • Activity History: A record of past trips, handovers, and other activities.

Driver Roles & Permissions

Drivers have specific roles within the organization, which determine their access level to the system's features and data. Their primary interaction is through the Driver App.

Vehicles (Cars)

A Vehicle (or Car) is a transport asset managed by the organization.

Vehicle Information

Each vehicle has a detailed record in the system, including:

  • Identification: Make, model, year, and registration numbers.
  • Current Status: Availability, location, and maintenance status.
  • Responsibility: Tracks which driver is currently assigned to or responsible for the vehicle.
  • Handover History: A record of all past handovers, including snapshots and condition reports.

Resource Coordination

The Admin Panel provides tools for dispatchers to:

  • Monitor Resource Availability: See which cars and drivers are available for assignment at any given time.
  • Optimize Resource Utilization: Strategically assign cars and drivers to trips to maximize efficiency.
  • Maintain Resource Records: Keep all vehicle and driver information up-to-date and accurate.
